Public Health Ambassador Program Seeks Volunteers

08/25/2020

The Public Health Ambassador Program is urgently seeking volunteers and interns from all campus majors and programs regardless of any experience/education in public health.

Students who volunteer will have the opportunity to gain experience in data collection, management, and analysis as well as reporting, auditing, and/or public health practice.

Student workers will conduct audits of campus buildings to provide information to the university on its policies and procedures and will assist with peer education. Auditing will be done on a regular basis throughout all SLU campuses.

Volunteers must work a minimum of two hours per week. In order to qualify for a three-credit internship, students must be in an undergraduate program and work at least 10 hours per week.

Interns will coordinate with Lauren Arnold, Ph.D.

A short virtual training will be provided to volunteers and interns before beginning the program.

Interested applicants should fill out the Google survey.
