Registration Open for Free Spring Break Writing Retreat for Graduate Students

University Writing Services will offer its Spring Break Writing Retreat as an opportunity for graduate students to write in a quiet, structured environment alongside other scholars.

The retreat will run from Wednesday, March 11 to Friday, March 13 in the Busch Student Center, Room 331. The first two sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. The final session will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.

Space is limited to 30 students. A limited number of one-on-one appointments will also be available to the first eight registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be minimal content delivery about different timed-writing activities at the beginning of each session. Participants can drop in anytime and should bring their notebooks, pens, pencils, laptops, chargers, current writing project, research, and/or data sets.

Light snacks will be supplied throughout the day. Lunch is not included.
