Heavy Traffic Expected Around SLU During Evening Rush Hour on Jan. 17

A sellout crowd is expected for the Billikens men’s basketball game against the University of Dayton, which begins at 6 p.m. this Friday, Jan. 17, at Chaifetz Arena.

Due to the project crowd size, means heavier-than-normal traffic on all roads leading to Chaifetz Arena is expected from approximately 4:30 p.m. until game time.

As SLU faculty, staff and students leave for the day, you may wish to consider alternate routes if your commute normally takes you along Olive Boulevard, Compton Avenue or Market Street.

Grand Boulevard traffic will also likely be heavier than normal.

For those travelling to the game from locations off campus, please allow extra time to get to Chaifetz Arena for the 6 p.m. start time.
