Flu Shots Available to SLU Employees

Employee Health will offer free influenza vaccinations for Saint Louis University employees this fall. Vaccinations will be available through mid-November, and all SLU employees are encouraged to participate. Employees must present a University ID to receive the shot. 

Flu shots are required for all employees/health care workers with occupational activities at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital or any other Saint Louis University-affiliated health care facility.  More details are listed below.

Non-SLUCare/Health Care Employees

SLUCare/Health Care Employees

The requirement to get a flu shot applies to SLUCare employees; SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital; volunteers; contracted services operating at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital (Agiliti, Building Services, Dialysis, Dietary, Environmental Services, Protective Services); SLU Public Safety, Facilities, and Custodial Services who may be assigned to do job tasks in a health care environment; and SLU medical research workers who work on projects where influenza vaccination is required or recommended. 

Other University medical research workers are welcome to attend. Employees and health care workers who successfully completed all aspects of an Employee Health new hire physical on or after Oct. 1, 2020, will not need to attend this 2020 Fall session.

Primary Vaccination Location 

The primary vaccination location is Suite 100 in the West Pavilion at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, 3655 Vista Avenue.
