Equity and Global Identities Course Design Workshop for Faculty

04/05/2021

A follow-up workshop to the February Equity and Global Identities brown bag presentation will be held at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 13.

The Reinert Center’s Gina Merys and Robert Cole will offer a course design workshop for faculty who are planning courses that can address one or more EGI attributes (Identities in Context; Global Interdependence; and Dignity, Ethics, and A Just Society). While the workshop is intended primarily for instructors who have a syllabus to work with, it is open to all.

Workshop description

In this interactive workshop, participants will be introduced to a course design framework that focuses on incorporating the outcomes for the Equity and Global Identities area of the Core within an existing course. Participants will also be led through some approaches to aligning the outcomes with course activities, projects, and assignments including the course artifact used for assessment of the Core. Participants should bring a syllabus.

The Zoom link is the same as for all of the Core Brown Bag presentations.
