32nd Annual Saint Louis University Summer Geriatric Institute Is June 3-4

The Gateway Geriatric Education Center is hosting the 32nd annual Saint Louis University Summer Geriatric Institute on June 3-4.

This year's professional development event, "The Future of Geriatric Care for Older Adults," includes lectures and workshops on such topics as age-friendly health systems and communities, trauma informed care, exercise, nutrition, telehealth, COVID-19 from geriatrician and patient perspectives, loneliness and social isolation, and Cognitive Stimulation Therapy.

In addition to the Institute, a Facilitator Certification training will be offered in Cognitive Stimulation Therapy on June 2 and 9.
