Staff Advisory Committee Announces New Executive Board

The Staff Advisory Committee (SAC) at Saint Louis University has announced its 2021-22 executive board. The new officers will start or continue their duties on July 1.

The Chair will be Sue Stevens. Stevens is the affiliation contract and process improvement director for the Finance Department in the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She has worked at the University since 1985.

The Chair-Elect is Judi Buncher. Buncher is an executive assistant in the Office of Mission and Identity and has worked there for more than eleven years.  The Recording Secretary will be Kristin Hrasky. Hrasky is an administrative assistant in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training and has been at the University for five years.

The Corresponding Secretary is Patricia McQueen. McQueen has worked at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business for nine years supporting the academic departments of Accounting, Management, and Operations and Information Technology Management.

Kathy Barbeau will serve as Treasurer. Barbeau is the department administrator for the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology (MMI), a role she has held for the past six years. The Membership Coordinator will be Rachel Young. Young is the clinical education program coordinator for the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training and has worked for the University for over 10 years.

The Staff Advisory Committee (SAC) seeks to communicate the interest and concerns of a diverse University staff to the administration and faculty and support them with its knowledge, skills, and abilities; to function in an advisory capacity in the development, review and implementation of University policies which affect staff; and to create and nurture a spirit of unity among all employees at the University.
