Trauma Informed Yoga

02/08/2021

Join registered yoga teacher Colleen Caul for the Spring 2021 session of Trauma Informed Yoga. The complimentary eight-week class will be held on Tuesdays and is for any SLU student who might benefit from the healing power of trauma-informed yoga and who can commit to attending the entire series.

Class will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Mind & Body Room inside the Simon Recreation Center.

Trauma-Informed Yoga allows participants to improve their physical and mental well-being in a supportive environment. Body based treatments like yoga can help manage and reduce trauma symptoms.

Caul creates a safe, inclusive space through empowering language, invitation of choices and no physical assists. No matter what trauma someone has experienced, this program will teach you how to self-regulate, rediscover your breath and make choices as you reclaim your true self.

Masks will be required at all times and participants must supply their own yoga mat.

Pre-register by Feb. 15 or email jodi.seals@slu.edu with any questions.
