1818 Community Engagement Grant Recipients Announced

01/07/2021

Eighteen projects were recently selected for the 2020-2021 cycle of the 1818 Community Engagement Grant program, sponsored by the Center for Service and Community Engagement.

Through the program, groups of SLU students and faculty are able to submit ideas, in partnership with a local community partner, to make a positive impact in the St. Louis region and beyond.

In response to ever-emerging needs resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, several projects focus on partnerships with local non-profits to expand relief efforts. Others will be providing support to the unhoused during the winter months, and some have a focus on youth education in STEM and Health Science fields.

For a complete list of selected projects, as well as the impact that past grants have had on the community, please visit the Center's website.
