SLU Community Invited to Test Screening for Film on First African American Unit in WWI

The Saint Louis University community has been invited to participate in a test screening for a new documentary on the Harlem Hellfighters, the first African American unit to fight in World War I. A virtual screening will be held Wednesday, March 31, followed by a discussion with the film's producers.

The film's producers are seeking feedback on an initial fine cut from a number of different audiences, including students and faculty from colleges and universities.

A screening is taking place at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, followed by the discussion. As the film is a fine cut, they hope to use the feedback to help guide the editing process.
