Students Have Opportunity to take Summer Courses at SLU

05/11/2021

Registration is in full-swing for summer classes at Saint Louis University. SLU is offering undergraduate and graduate courses - many of them online - in topics such as American Studies, Forensic Science, Human Communication and Culture, Psychology and more.

There are 12 different summer sessions, with start dates in May, June and July, giving students the chance to take courses throughout the summer months. Additionally, many undergraduate courses are priced at $770/credit hour, a decreased tuition rate from fall and spring.

“Students have a great opportunity to get ahead in their academic endeavors here at SLU this summer,” said Troy Hargrove, director of Summer and Extended Studies. “Many courses are offered online, which means that students can take classes taught by exceptional SLU faculty from wherever they are.”

In summer 2020, SLU saw course enrollment increase by 4.5% and total credit hours increase by 7.5% from 2019. With classes starting to fill up, students are encouraged to enroll as soon as possible.
