Mission and Identity Fall Lecture Series Continues Friday

10/08/2021

The Office of Mission and Identity will be hosting a Friday Speaker Series this fall. The next speaker will be Dan Finucane, Ph.D.

Finucane, an associate professor of systematic theology, will be speaking on the Apostolic Preference of, "To accompany young people in the creation of a hope-filled future." The event will be Friday, Oct. 15, at noon.

Anyone interested in attending the Zoom event should register in advance. A Zoom link will be sent prior to the event.

The speaker series is  part of the Society of Jesus' celebration the 500th anniversary of St. Ignatius’ conversion. The Friday Speaker Series this fall will focus on the Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Society of Jesus. How are we as a university and as individuals living the mission that has been passed on to us?

The speaker series will look at the ways we live the Apostolic Preferences of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), and help us reflect on our own conversion.
