SLU Named 5th-Best Online College for Veterans

Saint Louis University has been named one of the top colleges for veterans.  

College Consensus recently released rankings of top colleges for veterans. Saint Louis University was ranked No. 5 overall for best online colleges, No. 1 in the state of Missouri and No. 38 for best college overall. 

The College Consensus rankings combine the results from ranking systems, student reviews and a meta-ranking. The Colleges for Veterans category is limited to schools that are Servicemember Opportunity Colleges members, have a recognized Student Veteran Organization, are Yellow Ribbon Program participants, employ a dedicated support contact, and offer credit for military training.

The ranking of online colleges includes 50 universities from around the United States. SLU ranked fifth behind University of Florida, The Citadel, University of Arizona and Western Carolina University. 

According to College Consensus, the best online colleges for military veterans give them the ability to work with their instructor and classmates around their schedule while gaining the education necessary to further their degree. 

The top overall college list featured 100 universities. SLU came in at 38, but was No. 1 for universities in the state of Missouri.
