Inaugural Midwest Metabolic Symposium Will Be April 14-16

The inaugural Midwest Metabolic Symposium will take place from Friday, April 14, 2023, to Sunday, April 16, 2023,  at The Westin St. Louis. 

The conference sessions will focus on current and emerging best practices for the management of obesity, diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and cardiovascular disease. 

Topics will include: 

• Rising incidence and prevalence of Obesity and T2DM
• The parallel increase in the prevalence of NAFLD (up to 40% of the US population affected)
• Introducing current and new treatment strategies to address these multiple overlapping disorders (with common pathogenic mechanisms)

All physicians see these conditions and are often not captured or underdiagnosed. The aim is to bring attention to these common disorders and the need to identify those at the highest risk early.
