Call for Submissions for Scholarly Works Awards Are Now Open

The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) has announced the call for submissions for Scholarly Works Awards 2023.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, Jan. 20, 2023. 

OVPR is pleased to announce the Call for Submissions for Scholarly Works Awards 2023. 
 
Any faculty member may nominate their own or their colleagues’ work for a Scholarly Works Award at the junior or senior faculty levels in any of three categories: book (in English), book in a language other than English, non-book scholarly publication, and non-traditional scholarly work.

These awards, which carry a cash prize, are for work that was published, produced, or appeared during calendar year 2022. There is no limit on the number of nominations a person or unit may make.
 
OVPR relies on department chairs, research council members, and faculty to make sure deserving faculty in every unit are nominated.

To make a nomination, fill out the form on the nomination portal.

Faculty and staff members are encouraged to share this information with  colleagues and contact the Research Strategy Group (rsg@slu.edu) with any questions about the awards or the nomination process.
