Laclede Garage Repairs Begin Monday, June 27

As part of the University's ongoing campus improvements, various repairs inside Laclede Parking Garage will begin on Monday, June 27.

Both the eastern and western garage entrances/exits will remain open during this project.

Most of the closed-off area will be the southeast portion of the first and second floors. The ramp from the first floor to the second floor will be closed initially and the ramp from the second floor to the third floor will be closed during most of the work in the garage, which means there will be no parking available on the third floor while this ramp is closed.

When the first floor is reopened to vehicles, the stairwell at the northeast corner of the building will also reopen to provide access to the first floor from the second floor in order to exit/re-enter the garage if you park on the first floor.

To drive between the first and second floors, cars will need to exit the garage to Laclede and re-enter via the entrance going directly to that floor from Laclede. The University expects the majority of the work to be completed by Monday, Aug. 1, with the remaining work to be completed before the week of orientation and move-in. 

Updates will be sent as work progresses to the affected users.
