Undergraduate Students Needed for Research Survey

Undergraduate students who are 18 years of age or older, are being asked to participate in a research survey to assess what barriers students face in accessing mental health resources. 

Answers will be collected anonymously. Anyone taking part will have a chance to win a $20 Amazon gift card.

The title of this study is “Barriers to Mental Health Help-Seeking Among College Students.” It is being led by Alina Ainyette, MPH, Department of Health Management and Policy, and Peter Tran, MS, Department of Biostatistics.

The purpose of this study is to better understand what barriers to mental health care that college students experience when they are faced with mental health problems. With a better understanding of those barriers, the students hope to better inform school administration and mental health programs to better serve the student population.
