The awardees of this the 22-23 cycle of the 1818 Community Engagement Grant Program have been announced.

This year, a record 55 applications were received.  A team of SLU students, faculty, and staff reviewed and awarded 18 of the projects $1,800 each to make a positive impact in the St. Louis community in partnership with a local non-profit.

This year's winners include such projects as providing driver's education to low-income teenagers in Midtown, launching a Girl Scout Troop for girls living in homeless shelters, and numerous programs aimed to improve mental health among youth, teens and elderly minority populations.
