SLU Hosting AMWA Region 7 Conference

In coordination with Region 7 Leadership, the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) Chapter at Saint Louis University School of Medicine will host a regional conference on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is the first time SLU has hosted the conference. 

The theme of the conference will be “Leveraging Your Power: Advocating for Yourself and Your Patients."

This conference will have a hybrid format with in-person presentations, panels, and workshops that will be broadcast to virtual participants via Zoom. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for medical students to give poster presentations and compete for recognition and prize money based on review by a committee of judges.
