Announcing the Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management

July 13, 2023

Dear Saint Louis University community,

I am pleased to announce that Robert (Rob) Reddy will serve as the Interim Vice President for Enrollment Management (EM) effective today, July 13, 2023. He succeeds former EM VP Kathleen Davis, who has departed SLU for another opportunity.

Rob has more than 30 years of professional higher education experience in the areas of Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Data Analytics, Treasury Services, Veteran Relations, Advancement and college/university administration.

After receiving his BA and MA from the University of Pittsburgh, he began his career at the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency. His professional path has led him to several other institutions, including The Boyd School in Green Pond, Alabama; Point Park University in Pittsburgh; Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas; and Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.

Most recently, he served at Northeastern University as Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management and Dean of Student Financial Services, and then Assistant Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management with an added focus on strategic enrollment projects at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Since November 2022, Rob has been providing consulting services to the EM team regarding our Global Graduate Initiative.

Rob has been involved professionally in many state, regional and national organizations, including College Board, the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), the Counsel on Financial Higher Education (COFHE), and the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). In addition, he has served on a wide variety of committees, presenting on admission, financial aid and enrollment management topics across the country with a variety of organizations, including College Board, Posse and College Horizons.

I am excited to have Rob join our team here at SLU. We have many opportunities ahead of us to grow undergraduate and graduate enrollment, domestically and internationally. Rob brings a track record of successfully advancing the enrollment goals of a broad array of higher education institutions.

Given the importance of this position and the length of enrollment cycles, Rob will serve as an interim for two years. We will conduct a national search for the next permanent leader of Enrollment Management in the Fall of 2024.

Rob will begin interfacing with the EM team and colleagues in other divisions immediately. The enrollment cycle for Fall 2024 is already well underway, and I look forward to Rob hitting the ground running with us this week.

Please join me in welcoming Rob to Saint Louis University.

Sincerely,

Mike Lewis, Ph.D.
