Campus-Wide Virtual Slate Training Events Scheduled

A Slate implementation representative will be hosting two hour-long virtual training sessions.

The sessions will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, and 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 27. During this training, topics will range from accessing reports to contacting students through Slate and more. 

Launching in August 2023 for the fall 2024 enrollment cycle, the Office of Admission (excluding Med and Law) will migrate from Salesforce or any other CRM/CMT system to Slate by Technolutions. Undergraduate admission will launch Slate on Aug. 1, and graduate admission will launch slate on Sept. 1.

Slate is a single-source solution for student engagement through the enrollment process, including self-service application management and seamless integration into the institutional student information system — in SLU's case Banner. Slate comes with sophisticated communication tools and serves as a reliable database of variable information.   

At least one representative from each SLU department should plan to attend this training. The sessions will be recorded in the event members of the University community are not able to join in real-time.
