10/31/2023

The awardees of the 2023-24 cycle of the 1818 Community Engagement Grant Program have been announced.

This year, a record 55 applications were received. A team of SLU students, faculty, and staff reviewed and awarded 18 projects $1,800 each to make a positive impact in the St. Louis community in partnership with a local non-profit.

This year's winners include such projects as conducting social observations at the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court in St. Louis City in order to examine how defendants are processed in court, promoting aviation access and inclusion in the Ville, and co-sponsoring UnMASC: Stories of Masculinity.
