About the Gwendolyn Peiper Music in Medicine Program

Gwendolyn Peiper was a well-known piano teacher in the St. Louis area for many years. Peiper  son and SLU SOM alumni,  Stephen C. Peiper, M.D., donated several pianos to SLU in her honor, as well as established an endowment for a yearly piano concert. The goal of the program is to host a concert once a year in her honor, showcasing the talent in our SLU community while fostering well-being and appreciation of music.
