SLU finished the regular season undefeated with a 7-0 record to advance to the payoffs. In the playoffs, SLU hasn't dropped a single game beating University of Missouri St. Louis 3-0, University of Minnesota 3-0,  and Northwood University 3-0 to advance to the North Conference Finals.

Waiting for the Billikens are 8-time North Conference champions Maryville University. The two squads will face-off in a best-of-five-series.

"After our top 3 finish at the national championship last year, our team is ready to run it back to compete for the whole thing this year," said Nicholas Chiu, Director of SLU Esports. "Our conference finals against Maryville is a teaser of what could be the grand finals of the national championship."
