Saint Louis University celebrated its newest class of graduates with its 2024 Midyear Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 14.

The ceremony took place at Chaifetz Arena. Associate professor of accounting Neil Jansen delivered the commencement address. Jansen was chosen as the 2024 Nancy McNeir Ring Award recipient — SLU's highest honor for teaching.

SLU's Midyear Commencement is slightly different from the May Commencement ceremony. In May, because of the large number of students graduating, the students walk across the stage in precommencement ceremonies. With a smaller group of graduates, students who take part in SLU's Midyear Commencement Ceremony were individually recognized as they cross the stage along with others from their school, college, or degree-granting center.
