Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX to Release Annual Required Learning Module

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX will release the annual required learning module for all returning students on Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Students will receive access to the annual required training entitled "Sexual Assault Prevention: Healthy Relationships" in conjunction with software provider Vector Solutions. All returning students (including graduate and professional students) will receive an email message from external sender Vector Solutions alerting them to the presence of the module.

The module can be accessed through the “MySLU” portal in the “MyApps Dashboard.” Locate the button marked “Vector Solutions” and click on it. This will take the user into the module system, and the system will recognize the user’s SLU credentials.

The module is estimated to take 60-65 minutes. Users may stop and return to the assignment as needed.

This annual required training module is designed to inform students on matters related to healthy relationship dynamics and sexual harassment (including sexual assault, stalking, and dating/domestic violence). This online module will help students understand their rights, responsibilities and resources including how and to whom they can report an incident.

Even students have previously completed online modules in the past, they are still required to complete this training. All returning students are required to complete this module by May 7, 2024.
