Battle of the Billikens Crowdfunding Campaign Underway

Whether you’re on the field or the sidelines, you can help the Billikens score big when you team up to support SLU sports this spring. Battle of the Billikens is a new crowdfunding campaign that asks fans of all kinds to contribute to their favorite program as the teams compete to get the most gifts.

Visit crowdfunding.slu.edu now through March 31 to make a gift of any size to any SLU athletics program to participate. The first three teams to meet their donor goal will win matching gifts from the Billiken Club in the following amounts:

• First Place: $1,250 to their sport
• Second Place: $750 to their sport
• Third Place: $500 to their sport

Gifts can be made by credit cards and by digital wallet methods including Venmo, PayPal and Google Pay.

Winners are determined by the number of gifts received, not the overall amount, so everyone in the SLU community is invited to help amplify messages about the campaign through social media and emails. As part of the crowdfunding campaign, supporters are invited to consider making a matching gift or creating a giving challenge. Or, log in to the crowdfunding platform to become an advocate and help us spread the word about the Battle of the Billikens.
