Registration Open for Inter-University Geriatric Case Competition

The Healthy Aging Virtual Interprofessional Geriatric Case Competition is a free and unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students across disciplines to come together and develop a comprehensive plan of care for an older adult.

Students will be placed on interprofessional teams, paired with a faculty coach, and challenged to create and present a 25-minute live virtual case to a panel of judges followed by an Q&A.

This is a chance to gain hands-on experience, build teamwork across health professions, and highlight your creativity in problem-solving.

Registration closes on Monday, Sept. 24, 2025. Team orientation is Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025 with the competition day being Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025.

Winners will be announced Monday, Nov. 10, 2025.

Eligible disciplines include medicine, nursing, mental health, nutrition, OT, PT, PA, speech/language, pharmacy, dental, and health sciences.
