Planned Banner Maintenance Scheduled

SLU’s “Banner Self-Service” and “Internet Native Banner” (INB) systems will be unavailable to everyone starting at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, until 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14. ITS will be performing maintenance on these systems during this time.

During the outage, students will not have access to either Banner Self-Service or TouchNet (for bill payment). Additionally, students for whom registration is open will be unable to drop, add, or withdraw from courses.  

Beyond not having direct access to both Banner Self-Service and INB, during the outage faculty and staff will also not have access to updated, Banner-based data (including course rosters, student registration data, academic advising tools, etc.) in Canvas, Degree Works, Tableau, Cognos, or other systems that use Banner data.  

An update will be sent to the University community by noon on Sunday, Dec. 14, if the outage window is extended. Check the ask.slu.edu homepage for additional information during the outage
