About the Shows
The Mousetrap
After a local woman is murdered, the guests and staff at Monkswell Manor find themselves stranded during a snowstorm. It soon becomes clear that the killer is among them, and the seven strangers grow increasingly suspicious of one another. A police detective, arriving on skis, interrogates the suspects: the newlyweds running the house; a spinster with a curious background; an architect who seems better equipped to be a chef; a retired Army major; a strange little man who claims his car has overturned in a drift; and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone. THE MOUSETRAP is a record-breaking murder mystery from Dame Agatha Christie, the foremost mystery writer of her time. Directed by Carl Overly, Jr.
Performances take place February 26-March 1, 2026 in the Xavier Hall Main Stage Theatre.
Shadows & Light
In the realm of dance, we often find ourselves standing at the intersection of shadow and light. Much like life itself, the balance between darkness and illumination shapes the movement, the story and the creative process. SHADOWS & LIGHT is an exploration of that delicate interplay – the moments of clarity that emerge from the murkiness, and the profound understanding that comes from the quiet spaces in between. Join us for an evening that invites you into the beauty of movement as it evolves, reveals, and illuminates the complexities of the human experience in action. Directed by Assistant Professor Holly Seitz Marchant with original choreography by SLU Dance minors.
Performances take place April 24-26, 2026 in the Xsvier Hall Main Stage Theatre.
