SLU Employees Can Apply for Wellness Discount
07/03/2025
At Saint Louis University, employee well-being—on and off campus—remains a top priority. As part of SLU's ongoing commitment to support its employees' health, SLU will continue offering the wellness discount for 2026.
To receive the wellness discount for the 2026 plan year, employees must complete an annual wellness exam with your primary care provider (PCP) between Jan. 1, 2025, and Nov. 30, 2025. Now is the time to schedule your appointment.
A PCP may include a Family Medicine Doctor, Internist, OB/GYN, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant within a primary care setting. These providers offer a comprehensive and preventive approach to your health, ensuring continuity of care.
Wellness Discount Instructions
If current employees are enrolled in SLU’s medical plan and complete a wellness exam between January 1 and November 30, 2025, UnitedHealthcare will automatically report your participation and no action is needed.
If an employee has been hired in 2025 and has completed a biometric screening this year, no additional wellness exam is required for the discount.
If an employee doesn't have a PCP, SLU and SSM Health offer a wide network of Tier One providers ready to support your health needs. You can explore options using the following resources:
