Tornado Relief Donation Drive Planned for Tuesday and Wednesday
05/30/2025
All members of the Saint Louis University community are being encouraged to bring urgently needed supplies to campus for a Tornado Relief Donation Drive that will collect items that will be donated to the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis.
In a message announcing the drive on Friday, Rochelle Smith, vice president for diversity and innovative community engagement, and Mickey Luna, vice president for human resources, thanked everyone who is helping the region recover from the devastating May 16 storm.
“Your compassion, generosity, and action have truly embodied our Jesuit mission,” they wrote. “In moments of crisis, we are called not only to stand in solidarity but to act with intention and love. Thank you for continuing to live out that call with generosity and grace.”
