"Away for a Day" Ignatian Retreat Scheduled for January 6
Based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback received from the June 2025 “Away for a Day” faculty and staff retreat, a second event has been scheudled for Tuesay, Jan. 6, 2026.
The retreat is hosted by the Office of Human Resources in collaboration with Mission and Identity.
The retreat offers an chance to relax, engage in spiritual reflection, and rejuvenate ahead of the upcoming semester. The program will include periods of quiet reflection, brief group spiritual discussions, and small group conversations.
It will occur on the grounds of the Pallotine Retreat & Conference Center. Virginia Herbers, director of mission formation, will be returning to lead this special retreat.
Registration for the retreat is open now. Faculty and staff who choose to attend will not be required to use vacation time to attend, but do need to obtain supervisor approval.
