Boeing Institute of International Business Honors Global Business Leaders and IB Scholars at Annual Awards Ceremony

Global business leaders and international business students were recently honored at the 2025 Boeing Institute of International Business Awards Ceremony.

The annual Saint Louis University event celebrates the achievements of international business students in our community and the positive impact they have within the worldwide scope of business and leadership. The 2025 Boeing Institute of International Business Awards Ceremony took place on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and honored three global business leaders and six student scholars.

More150 attendees took part in a networking cocktail hour, and sit-down dinner followed by the awards presentation in the Busch Student Center. 

This year’s Globalist Award was presented to Michael Miebach, CEO, Mastercard. The International Visionary Award was presented to Tony Cheng, President & CEO, Reinsurance Group of America. The International Business Consanguinity Insignia was presented to Dana Wiele, Senior Vice President, Reinsurance Group of America.

Student scholarship recipients are concentrating on their undergraduate studies in international business and are chosen based on the strength of their academic achievement, service, and extracurricular activities. These scholarships are made possible by the Boeing Institute’s generous donors, who were in attendance to present and celebrate this year’s scholars.

2025 Student Scholars
