Claver House Community Bike Ride Is October 11
Claver House is about community, and it has served as a gathering place within the heart of the historic Ville neighborhood of North St. Louis. It serves as a place-based point of connection and collaboration, gathering people to know, support, and empower one another.
The community bike ride will begin at Saint Louis University's Clock Tower and will go through the Ville Neighborhood. Riders can choose between a 20-mile ride and a 5-mile ride. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in front of the Center for Global Citizenship. All ride distances start at 10 a.m.
After the ride, there will be lunch and an open house at Claver House, 4155 Kennerly Avenue, St. Louis, 63113. The event is sponsored by SLU’s Oliver L. Parks Department of Aviation Science and the Center for Social Action.
The goal of the bike ride is to engage the SLU community at Claver House, allowing participants to experience its programs firsthand, including residential living, Operation Read and Feed, Science Saturdays, and Claver House Summer Camp.
