'Away for a Day' Ignatian Retreat Scheduled for June 9
The next “Away for a Day” Ignatian Faculty and Staff Retreat has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The retreat provides an opportunity to relax, engage in spiritual reflection, and rejuvenate as SLU concludes the spring semester and prepares for the upcoming fall semester.
The retreat will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The program will follow the format of previous retreats, including quiet time, brief spiritual reflections with the group and small group discussions. The event will be held on the scenic grounds of the White House Retreat Center in South County.
Virginia Herbers will be returning to lead this special retreat.
Registration for the retreat is open now. Faculty and Staff who choose to attend will not be required to use vacation time, but will need to obtain supervisor approval.
