Banner Maintenance Planned for April 18

SLU’s “Banner Self-Service” and “Internet Native Banner” (INB) systems will both be unavailable for everyone from 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, until 2 p.m. on Sunday,  April 19,.  ITS will be preforming maintenance on these systems during this time. 

During the outage, students will not have access to either Banner Self-Service or TouchNet (for bill payment).  Additionally, students for whom registration is open will be unable to drop, add, or withdraw from courses.  

Beyond not having direct access to both Banner Self-Service and INB, during the outage faculty and staff will also not have access to updated, Banner-based data (including course rosters, student registration data, academic advising tools, etc.) in Canvas, Degree Works, Tableau, or other systems that use Banner data.  

ITS will update the University community by 2 p.m. on Sunday if there is a need to extend the maintenance window.  Check the ask.slu.edu homepage for additional information during the outage.
