Case Study Symposium to Highlight University–Industry Collaboration with Karviva

Faculty, staff, students, and community partners are invited to attend “Expanding University–Industry Collaboration: Case Study Symposium Featuring Karviva,” taking place Friday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The symposium highlights the collaboration with St. Louis–based health beverage company founded by Dr. Angela Zeng, an alumna of the SLU School of Medicine. The partnership, recently highlighted in a Fortune press release, demonstrates how founders, faculty, and students can work together through case-study research to address real strategic business questions.

The symposium is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) and cohosted by the Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship (CCE) and the Emerson Leadership Institute (ELI) at the Chaifetz School of Business.

The symposium will feature student presentations, faculty perspectives, and insights from industry and university leaders, while also creating opportunities for new partnerships between businesses and the university. This symposium reflects SLU’s broader commitment to strengthening research, experiential learning, and community engagement as part of its vision of “Great Cities, Great Universities.”
