Career Services to Host an On-Campus and Part-Time Job Fair
Career Services is hosting an On-Campus Job Fair for students seeking part-time work on campus and the surrounding community from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the Cook Hall Atrium (School of Business).
During the fair people will visit with offices across campus to learn about the opportunities to gain valuable work experience and skills employers seek in college graduates.
Federal Work Study and Non-Federal Work Study opportunities will be available. Off-campus non-profit organizations who have opportunities available for students who are eligible for Federal Work Study will also be attending.
Below are some tips to help prepare for the fair:
- Find out Federal Work Study eligibility
- Consider interests, skills and work availability
- Bring copies of a resume
- Advanced registration is not required for this event
- Bring a SLU ID to check in at the fair
- Casual dress attire, but come ready to make a good impression
