Chaifetz School of Business Announces 2026-2027 Chaifetz Fellows Cohort
The 2026-2027 academic year will see the 19th cohort of Chaifetz Fellows at Saint Louis University. The Chaifetz Fellows promote entrepreneurship education and programming across the SLU campus. More than 100 undergraduate and 100 graduate courses across the SLU campus have embedded entrepreneurship skills.
The 2026 cohort features six new Fellows. They are:
- Dannielle Joy Davis, Ph.D. (Higher Education, Fellow since 2017). Davis is pursuing a new project.
- Mahin Jabrayilova (Education)
- Linda Waller (Graduate Enrollment & Portfolio Management in the School of Medicine)
- Tracy Granneman (Operations and IT Management)
- Esmeralda Aharon (Ignatian Mission in Medicine)
- Ben Smyth, Ph.D. (Service Leadership)
Each will receive a $2,500 grant for use in developing and deploying entrepreneurship elements in their classes.
In addition to the new Fellows, six veteran Fellows (grant recipients from prior years) will receive $1,000 grants to reinforce and expand their existing work infusing their classes with entrepreneurial ideas and skills.
The veteran Fellows are:
- Tianyi Li, Ph.D. (Civil Engineering, Fellow since 2025)
- Mike Markee, Ph.D. (Physical Therapy & Athletic Training, Fellow since 2016)
- Sridhar Condoor, Ph.D. (Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, Fellow since 2009)
- Danahe Marmolejo, Ph.D. (Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, Fellow since 2023)
- Srikanth Gururajan, Ph.D. (Aerospace Engineering, Fellow since 2017)
- Katie Devany (Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Fellow since 2016)
