EEGS Hosts AEG Professional Presentations On September 2

Earth, Environmental and Geospatial Science will host two Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) presentations on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

The presentations will focus on careers of geologists. 

Day In The Life Of A Geologist

Curious about a career in the geosciences? The department of Earth, Environmental and Geospatial science hosts geologist Luke Ducey as he presents Day In The Life Of A Geologist.  Cookies and coffee are provided. 

The event is at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, in O'Neil Hall room 206. 

The meeting is free for SLU students and faculty. 

The Long and Winding Road: One Geologists 40-Year Career

AEG National President Paul Weaver will presents The Long and Winding Road: One Geologist's 40-Year Career. This event is a 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, in O'Neil Hall, room 206. 

Dinner and drinks are provided during the presentation. The meeting is free for SLU students and faculty.
