Three New Faculty Orientation Events Open to All Faculty
This year's New Faculty Orientation features three events, open to the whole SLU faculty community.
The orientation will be Wednesday, Aug. 12. The three open event are:
- A faculty resource fair highlighting research, teaching, and library resources
- Building Effective and Inclusive Mentoring Practices, an interactive workshop on building student-centered mentoring relationships; and
- Advancement and Flourishing: Mental Health, Mentorship, and Faculty Success in Jesuit Higher Education, a panel discussion with faculty at varied stages of their careers exploring how Jesuit values of cura personalis can shape sustainable faculty success and wellbeing.
