Pianist Kariné Poghosyan Returns to SLU

Armenian-American pianist Kariné Poghosyan, coming fresh off her sold-out Carnegie Hall recital, will return to Saint Louis University.

Poghosyan will present a piano masterclass with SLU music students on Wednesday, March 18, at 5 p.m. in the Xavier Hall Main Stage Theatre, and on the following night, she will present a solo concert in the Xavier Hall Main Stage Theatre. 

oghosyan’s 2025-26 season includes monthly recital broadcast series she produces and performs on the last Sunday each month from various venues in NYC. The professional multicamera broadcasts can be viewed by joining Patreon.

The masterclass will culminate in a public performance from those students with a special closing performance by Poghosyan. The concert takes place at 7 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public. 

AT 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 18,  Poghosyan will present a solo concert with a special program that is a part of her larger “Vienna” concert series in the Xavier Hall Main Stage Theatre. The concert will feature works by Mozart, as well as other masters who had important Viennese periods, including Beethoven, Schubert, and Liszt.
