Recognition Collective Hosts Appreciation Event

The Recognition Collective recently hosted an appreciation pop-up. The event was intended to spread warmth and gratitude across campus with hot chocolate and sweet treats.

The pop-ups were hosted in three locations, North Campus, South Campus, and the School of Law, and were designed to recognize the everyday contributions of the SLU community.

Attendees also learned more about the SLU Sparks program, SLU’s peer-to-peer recognition platform designed to celebrate colleagues who go above and beyond. Through SLU Sparks, employees can easily submit a brief note recognizing a colleague’s impact, which is then shared and celebrated across the community. Participation also includes opportunities for incentives throughout the year, such as prize drawings and SLU-branded giveaways.

The Appreciation Pop-Up is one of many initiatives led by the Recognition Collective — a cross-campus group committed to fostering a culture of recognition and appreciation at Saint Louis University.
