Registration and Nomination Form Open for 4th Annual Black History Month Celebration and Awards Ceremony
Nomination forms are now open to nominate peers to be recognized at the fourth annual Black History Month Celebration and Awards Ceremony presented by the Cross Cultural Center for Global Citizenship.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in the Center for Global Citizenship. The purpose of the Black History Month Celebration and Awards Ceremony is to recognize and celebrate the achievements and success of Black faculty, staff, students, and leaders at Saint Louis University.
Six awards will be given at the ceremony including the Emerging Leaders award, Outstanding Graduate award, the Dr. Jonathan C. Smith Faculty/Staff Appreciation Award, the Gamechanger Award, and the Mkeka award.
Members of the SLU community may submit nominations online. The deadline to submit a nomination is Monday, Feb. 9, 2026.
