Partial Street Closures for Laclede Avenue Set for June 29

Crane work will impact traffic on Laclede Avenue on Monday, June 29.

Crane crews are scheduled to start work at 6 a.m. as part of ongoing work at Spring Hall on the NW corner of the Spring Avenue and Laclede intersection. The replacement of the HVAC units requires two cranes to be set on Laclede that will temporarily block portions of both directions of traffic.

The cranes will also block parking meter spots as well as the north sidewalk on Laclede Avenue from the west side of the Spring/Laclede intersection down to the western edge of 3721 Laclede Ave (Beracha Hall). The south sidewalk on Laclede Ave will remain open during the street closures.

This closure is expected to be the majority of the time from about 6 a.m. to the late afternoon/early evening. Crews will also block the Spring Hall courtyard and Spring pedestrian mall on the east side of Spring Hall as a precaution as the crane hoists will be traveling over this area.

If weather forces a shutdown or reschedule, the plan is to move the words to the following day, Tuesday, June 30.
