SLU Recognized for Civic Action Planning Efforts

Saint Louis University has earned the Highly Established Action Plan Seal for the 2026 election cycle for developing a nonpartisan democratic engagement action plan that received at least 31.5 of 36 possible points based on the Strengthening American Democracy Action Planning Guide and corresponding rubric.

SLU is one of 129 campuses and two Jesuit institutions that earned this recognition so far for the 2026 election cycle.

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge is a national, nonpartisan initiative that supports and celebrates colleges and universities working to improve student voter participation, civic learning, and political engagement. SLU has participated in the ALL IN Challenge since 2016.

SLU’s voter engagement efforts are coordinated by the Center for Social Action, with numerous contributions by student leaders and campus partners. The Center for Social Action is seeking volunteers to assist with voter engagement efforts, including voter registration, voter education, and get-out-the-vote drives.
