Faculty, Staff and Students Encouraged to Attend Author Presentation on Food Insecurity Among College Students

Billiken Bounty and the Center for Social Action are hosting the authors of "Starving the Dream: Student Hunger and the Hidden Costs of Campus Affluence" for a presentation and discussion on Monday, April 20 from 1 p.m. to 2:30pm in the Center for Global Citizenship.

Drs. Nathan Alleman and Sarah Madsen will present their research on food insecurity among students at prestigious universities, as well as explore recent trends in data. A discussion will follow on how SLU can continue to best support students - both current and future - who may be food insecure.
