Early Registration for Billiken Recess Day Camp Now Open for SLU Employee and Student Dependents
Billiken Recess Day Camp, formerly SLU Summer Youth Camp, registration will be open early for SLU employees and students from until Friday, March 6. This early-access window gives faculty and staff the opportunity to secure a camper’s spot before general registration opens on Monday, March 9.
To ensure access to the SLU priority registration and the discounted rate (which includes free extended care), email campusrec@slu.edu and submit your dependent(s) name and their date of birth prior to registration.
If the dependent attended camp in 2025, their account should already be setup; log into the member portal at shopcampusrec.slu.edu to view the dependent’s profile to confirm. Contact Campus Recreation and Wellness if to have the team verify before registering.
Designed for active kids ages 6–12, this high-energy summer camp blends movement, imagination, and endless fun. Campers dive into a full lineup of games, sports, swimming, and hands-on activities led by our SLU Campus Recreation and Wellness team each day inside the Simon Recreation Center and throughout SLU's campus.
Weekly camp sessions feature a special camp theme that shapes activities, games, and all-camp projects. Campers also look forward to weekly field trips (usually on Thursdays) that extend the fun beyond campus, giving them opportunities to discover new places, try new experiences, and make memories together.
