Final Call: Leadership Development Workshop on Fostering Dignity and Belonging Is April 10
The Emerson Leadership Institute, in partnership with the Office of the Provost at Saint Louis University, invites faculty to register for Session 2 of a new pilot Faculty Development Program: Leadership Workshop – Fostering Dignity and Belonging.
The event will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2026, in room L30 of the Chaifetz School of Business. Registration is now open.
This interactive workshop explores how leaders can foster dignity and belonging in everyday interactions and meetings. Participants will examine how dignity violations and alienation occur and learn practical strategies to build more inclusive, respectful environments.
Learning Objectives
- Understand dignity, dignity violations, belonging, and alienation
- Learn five meeting principles that foster dignity and belonging
- Apply these principles in real-world meeting contexts
Program Schedule
- 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.: Breakfast
- 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Leadership Workshop
- 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Leaders’ Panel
- 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Lunch and Networking
